Karyn brings 35 years of experience in the construction industry to Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC, with a background that spans multiple disciplines across both commercial and residential projects. Her broad experience and financial expertise play a critical role in the company’s long-term stability and day-to-day operations.

As Controller and Managing Member, Karyn oversees financial management, business operations, and strategic planning, helping ensure the company remains efficient, compliant, and positioned for continued success. Her depth of knowledge and steady leadership support both the team and clients alike.

Outside of work, Karyn enjoys spending time at the barn with her horses, Lily and Butters, boating on The Chain O Lakes, keeping fit with running (in the summer) and working out.   She also cherishes spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Rich Topps

Project Manager & Estimator

Rich brings four decades of industry experience to Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC, with a deep understanding of both the field and the office. He spent 20 years in sheet metal installation before transitioning into project management and estimating, where he has over 23 years of experience leading and pricing complex projects.

Rich’s extensive hands-on background allows him to approach each project with a practical, detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in estimating and effective oversight from start to finish. His knowledge and leadership are a valuable asset to both the team and customers.

Outside of work, Rich is an avid hunter and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Kristin “Kiki” Konigsfeld

Estimating & Project Coordinator

Kristin brings a strong background in both construction and coordination to her role at Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC. With 4 years of experience in the construction industry and over 10 years in coordinating roles, she plays a key part in keeping projects organized and moving efficiently.

Her responsibilities include reviewing all bid invitations, clarifying project scopes with customers, gathering estimates, preparing and sending proposals. Kristin’s attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks help ensure projects start on solid footing.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys kickboxing and loves spending time reading.

Tony Topps

Sheet Metal Superintendent

Tony brings 35 years of experience in the sheet metal industry to Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC. With 20 years of hands-on sheet metal installation and 15 years in project management and supervision, he provides strong leadership and practical expertise on every job site.

As Sheet Metal Superintendent, Tony oversees field operations, ensures quality workmanship, and helps keep projects on schedule and running smoothly. His deep understanding of installation and supervision allows him to effectively support crews and maintain high standards of safety and performance.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys spending time outdoors and following sports.

Christina Calhoun

Payroll Specialist

Christina brings 20 years of experience in construction-related office support to her role as Payroll Specialist at Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC. Her background in the construction industry allows her to manage payroll processes with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of job-related requirements.

In her role, Christina ensures payroll is processed correctly and on time, supporting both field and office staff while helping keep operations running smoothly. Her reliability and attention to detail are an important part of the company’s day-to-day success.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys painting and expressing her creativity as an artist, as well as spending time with her family.

Rich Patchett

Lead Sheet Metal Fabricator & Craftsman

Rich brings 44 years of sheet metal experience to Albert J. Wagner & Son LLC and is highly regarded for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. As Lead Sheet Metal Fabricator, he plays a critical role in producing high-quality architectural sheet metal components that meet precise project specifications.

Rich’s decades of hands-on experience and deep knowledge of the trade help ensure precision, consistency, and quality in every piece produced. His pride in workmanship reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Rich enjoys fishing and spending time boating.
